To implement it, we are using jQuery to apply the hooks we need and the effects to the standard Joomla menu. This is only available for Joomla 1.5 due to the improvements in the menu output in 1.5 which we are using as the base of this feature.

The full source files used to create the header are available in our template club for free download to all club members. If you are feeling a little creative then play a with the source files to modify the effect or make your own.

Template Color Switcher Module

We decided not to build the color switcher into the template, but rather let you decide whether or not to display it. Adding it is as simple as installing the module, setting which of the color options you want to be displayed, ie: only 3 of your favorite colors or all of them.

Aurora has hundreds of different configuration options. Almost everything you see in the template can easily be configured by clicking a button in the Tatami component. This is where the true power of Aurora lies.
Why we made Aurora so configurable

One of the biggest challenges we set for ourselves with Aurora, was to make it incredibly easy for anyone to customize it in a way that if we saw it on the web, it would look so different that we would not recognize it. We feel that we have achieved this and the mass of colorful and vibrant backgrounds are just one of the many ways you can make the template your own, in the simplest way possible. If thats not good enough, we gave you a component to edit it even further!

Intelli Modules Built in
This template comes with our new intelli-modules which calculate how much space they can take up depending on how many of them you publish. We have set 2 intelli positions in the bottom shelf, which can each handle a five modules. What’s more Aurora has a fully collapsible bottom shelf.

Module FX – Mix and match module styles!
One thing we have learned over the years is that our users want control and the means to easily customize the template to their needs. That is why we have come up with this clever system allowing you mix and match your different module styles.

In Aurora we have taken this a step further, allowing you to easily configure the base color (white or black) and how transparent you want the module. So even if you choose your own background, you can still customize all the modules backgrounds and transparency to perfectly fit the new image. Again, all of these changes are done from a simple user interface in Joomlas backend.
Express yourself through style, color, and layout versatility

Aurora has flexible layout configurations that are available on a per component basis e.g. homepage = sidebar + content, blog = content + sidebar. This allows you to change your sites layout, depending on the content that your users are viewing. For example, if you wanted you site to have a forum, but did not want the sidebar to be loaded when viewing the forum, you would simple set the configuration to com_fireboard = content. It really is that simple! Joomla makes it hard, JoomlaJunkie makes it easy again!
Configure your level of transparency!

One of the templates key features is the transparency options and the 88 different sexy background choices. You can either go with one of our pre-designed, colorful and vibrant backgrounds, or use one of the included tiled backgrounds or even use one of your own. The template is massively configurable and is easily customize the look and feel of your site – that is where its power lies.

The template is completely transparent and all the structural elements of the template all have configurable opacity settings (8 black and 6 white).

Tatami template configuration component

Like Joomla but hate reading all the complicated code to do more advanced things with your theme? Tatami allows you to make all the changes to your Aurora layout via it’s easy to use interface. Who needs FTP when you have JoomlaJunkie and features like this?
Simple Feed Module

Ever wanted to display a rss module, but did not know how to customize the default joomla syndicate module? Well, we have taken the concept and run with it. With our Simple Feed module, you can now add your own “pre text”, customize the link text, customize whether to pull the rss feed from Joomla! or MyBlog and if choosing Joomla! you can specify what type of feed you would like to syndicate. All this without digging in a single line of code!
Optional Flickr Module

Though this module is not a part of the templates core, we figured it would be a nice addition if using the template for a blog. Please note that this module was not developed by ourselves and we cannot provide support for it. Please contact the original developer should you have any problems

As with all JoomlaJunkie’s templates thus far, JJ Mismo is fully optimized for SEO. The 4 level Suckerfish menu system allows you to deploy an SEO hungry website by creating a complex set of menu links for them to spider. This also makes it a lot easier to manage the content on your website, with the ability to really utilize the power of Joomla’s sections and categories method of handling content.
Improvements
We have worked hard to improve our template guide and CSS. Even if you are new to CSS, you will know that well structured code makes your life so much easier. A large focus with Mismo was to make it an “out of the box” template that is super easy to setup and configure. Tightly integrated code allows you to get up and running in around 5 minutes after install, depending on your Joomla! experience of course.
New look
Last but not least, notice the attention to detail and the extra styling to the search results page and the contact us page which make the template a little different from the normal Joomla! look. Another great little extra is the addition of 3 module positions above the main content that can be used to notify, alert or offer help to your website visitors. Standards compliant and hassle free

As with all our templates, Vooloo is CSS and XHTML compliant. All modules are fully collapsible, and detailed online install tips and a template guide are available. The CSS files have detailed explanations on each style (for those new and unfamiliar with CSS), and if that is still confusing, our support center and online forums will help you out.
Free auto-install

We have also included in this template our new “auto-install” which simplifies the full install of Joomla (with the JJ Dark Business Template setup as on the demo site) down to 5 easy steps. So if you want to avoid having to installing Joomla, then installing the Vooloo template and then customising all the modules, use the auto installer. It does all of the above in one install. And yes, the auto installer is included for free.
